Bennies Camp
Fri, 01 to 03 August from 1pm. [Some committee will be there earlier, but this is on your own recognisance]
Arrival – Anytime in the afternoon of the 1st August or before at own responsibility.
Access to camp site typically 2WD access but during rain periods 4 x 4 is preferred. Peter confirmed that at our last hunt in June the area had plenty of deer, signs and the road / track conditions were very good.
Camp site: Drop toilet.
Volunteer Helpers
We are hoping some members might volunteer to help with the hunt housekeeping. The type of work involved is straightforward such as wood gathering for the fire, setting up the cooking area and helping with the cooking on the Saturday evening. Also, anyone willing to share their expertise and take an inexperienced member into the bush for say one session. There is an item in the registration process where you can respond to this request.
Catering
Saturday evening meal provided. Don’t forget to provide for yourself for all other meals.
A $25 incl GST etc contribution to food costs will be collected at registration.
Stalking.
Advice and support will be available to new or less experienced members.
No Dogs or hounds.
