Mission Statement

We advocate for the sound management of wild deer and ensure recreational hunting is sustainable, respected, and valued by the wider community and future generations.

We do this via our commitment to the sustainability of wild deer through habitat management,education, political advocacy, and community engagement.

Our Objectives

Ongoing education and outreach: Via our network of branches we focus safety and respect, to ensure our members set the example for all hunters and we preserve our pastime.
Commitment to Sustainability: Ensuring a sustainable balance between wild deer herds and the wild environment that they inhabit.
Advocacy and policy: Partnering with government to present recommendations on hunting, public land access and licencing that are grounded in research, science and fact. Not emotion or influence by the court of public opinion.
Community: Facilitate a sense of positive, optimism and community for our members to support and engage in our pastimes and traditions.
Adventure, enjoyment and healthier people: Harnessing the power of the outdoors to inspire and facilitate a sense of adventure and fulfillment though hunting in wild places.
