Event Overview
Join the Hunter Valley Branch of the Australian Deer Association and SSAA Newcastle for a friendly and relaxed Rimfire Field Rifle shoot and BBQ social day.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy:
Skills development in a supportive environment
Social connection, camaraderie, and networking
A cost-effective day of shooting with .22LR rifles
A delicious venison and salad BBQ lunch provided by our branch
Shooting kicks off around 9:00 AM, but we recommend arriving from 7:00 AM to sign in, complete paperwork, and sight in your rifle.
Note:
Only .22LR rifles with standard or subsonic ammunition are permitted (Sunday noise restrictions)
If you don’t have ‘Target’ on your firearms licence, you’ll need to complete a P650 form on the day – no extra cost
Estimated cost: $35 per participant (paid on the day)
