University of Tasmania seeking volunteers

None

A PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania is looking for volunteers to assist with vegetation surveys to test the impacts of deer in Tasmania.

This is an opportunity for hunters to actively contribute to the evidence base about wild deer and to experience a part of Tasmania that not many people get to see.

The field trips will be running from now until the end of November 2019, each trip will be 2-3 days.

The sites are located on a Tasmanian Land Conservancy properties in the Central Highlands.

Volunteers will be staying in a warm house nearby and all food will be provided.

No experience necessary.
