The Australian Deer Association has made a submission to Queensland’s Draft Feral (sic) Deer Management Strategy.
The submission was made with local input from over 100 of our members in Queensland.
Unfortunately, the draft represents a fundamental regression in the latest attempt at the management of wild deer in Queensland.
The association has put forward an alternative vision and set of goals that will deliver better wild deer management for the state of Queensland and involves the inclusion of recreational hunting as one of the means to achieve this.
