Murmungee Hound Assessment Proves Popular

None

The first hound assessment day of 2025 was a big one!

Over 50 dogs presented for assessment, and hound owners travelled as far as Sydney to have their dogs assessed before the 2025 season.

The weather was perfect, and hunters were lined up, ready to go before the 8 AM kick-off, before enjoying the rest of their day.

The ADA has two more express assessment days booked and ready to go: the first at Tonimbuk Hall on Sunday, February 23rd, and the second at Sarsfield Recreation Reserve on May 4th.

These assessment days are run free with the goal to provide quality assessment of the dogs and educate hound crews on the rules and regulations regarding hound hunting.

Thank you to the GMA, the hound crews, and our volunteers, who all made the day a great success.

We look forward to seeing you at the next one.
