Moves to ban bowhunting in South Australia

None

In July last year, the ADA provided a written submission, as well as an oral presentation led by local board member David Pope to an inquiry on bowhunting in South Australia. This inquiry produced a report in November that made eight recommendations to regulate bowhunting.

Unfortunately, in the last few weeks, it has become apparent that the Minister for the Environment has a demonstrated desire to introduce a ban on bowhunting in South Australia.

This is incredibly disappointing and completely at odds with the inquiry's findings. There are clear alternatives that are readily available that would make bowhunting well-regulated and in line with community expectations.

However, you have the ability to have your voice heard and demonstrate the viable alternatives to save bowhunting. Please click the link below and fill out your information to send an email to your local MP highlighting this.

It will only take a minute of your time, please also share amongst your local friends.
