Last week we brought you the news of new public land areas available for hunting. As most people who follow deer in Tasmania would be aware, there are a range of other changes for the 2020 season including a significant change to arrangements for antlerless deer and crop protection permits.
Game Services Tasmania (GST) will be conducting forums in Longford, Avoca, Ross and Bothwell.
GST have also produced some excellent fact sheets including a simple explainer for landholders and hunters, an outline of five year crop protection permits and changes to the antlerless deer season and an outline of changed reporting requirements.
