Australian Deer Association Membership Promotion

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the membership promotion (“Promotion”) conducted by the Australian Deer Association Inc. (“Promoter”). Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these T&Cs.

2. Eligibility

• The Promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
• The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and territory laws and regulations.
• To be eligible to receive the prize, the winner must hold a current and valid firearms licence for the appropriate firearm category in their state or territory.
• The winner must obtain any Permit to Acquire (PTA) required under the laws of their relevant jurisdiction prior to transfer of the prize.
• Employees, directors, officers of the Promoter, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

3. How to Enter

• Entry into the Promotion is automatic for individuals who join or rejoin the Australian Deer Association during the Promotion period.
• Only one (1) entry per person is permitted, regardless of the number of memberships purchased.
• Entrants must ensure all membership details provided are accurate and complete.

4. Promotion Period

The Promotion commences immediately upon publication and closes at 11:59pm (Melbourne time / AEDT) on Saturday 28 February 2026.

5. Prize

• The prize consists of one (1) Tikka T3X Lite rifle with Burris scope, supplied by Beretta Australia.
• The prize is not transferable, not refundable, and not redeemable for cash or alternative products.
• If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected by random draw on Monday 2 March 2026 at 1:00pm (Melbourne time / AEDT).
• The draw will be conducted at a private residence in Mt. Martha, Victoria.
• The winner will be notified via email within seven (7) days of the draw.
• The winner’s name may be published on the Australian Deer Association website and other official communication channels.

7. Claiming the Prize

• The winner must claim the prize within thirty-one (31) days of notification.
• The winner must provide evidence of a valid firearms licence and complete all transfer requirements in accordance with applicable state or territory legislation.
• The Promoter will endeavour to arrange prize transfer through a Beretta Australia–authorised firearms dealer located as close as reasonably practicable to the winner’s residential address. If this is not possible, an alternative authorised dealer may be used at the Promoter’s discretion.
• The Promoter will contribute up to $100 AUD towards dealer transfer fees.
• Any costs associated with obtaining a Permit to Acquire (PTA) are the responsibility of the winner.
• If the winner is unable to obtain the required firearms licence or Permit to Acquire within the applicable timeframe, the prize may be forfeited and a redraw conducted at the Promoter’s discretion.

8. Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the prize.
• Nothing in these T&Cs limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

• Personal information is collected for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and administering Australian Deer Association memberships.
• Information may be disclosed to third parties for prize fulfilment or where required by law.
• All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

10. General

• The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if circumstances arise beyond its reasonable control.
• These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
