Researcher wanting to hear from Victorian men about social issues
Most ADA members and most deer hunters are male.
We’re working hard to ensure that hunting is more inclusive (and making good headway) but the reality is that more of our members and more hunters are male than female.
Researchers at Deakin University are conducting a study on views and attitudes on current social issues including trust in institutions, gender equality and national identity. It's important that this type of research hears from people with a diversity of views - too often hunters are not included in these conversations.
The researchers are conducting interviews over the next month and are keen to hear from Victorian men.
This is part of a project funded by the Victorian Government. Participant identities will remain completely anonymous.
Interviews will go for around one hour and interviewee’s will be compensated for their time with a Coles-Myer voucher.
The interviews will be conducted using the Zoom App.
