New members can collect their Welcome Pack at the meeting.
Guest speaker at our August meeting will be Adam Parker of Parker Knives Australia.
Adam is a Ballarat-based knife maker who has spent years creating 100% hand made knives for customers ranging from chefs to hunters. He also offers a range of courses in knife making where students learn how to make a knife of their own using different methods and keep their creation at the end of the course.
Adam will be talking about what goes into the production of a truly custom knife, including materials used for blades and handles, blade design, production stages, sharpening and after-care, and of course, will be happy to answer questions from members.
