Police are investigating after an man was shot and killed during a hunting incident at Rose River in Victoria's North East.
Police report that the man was hunting with a group along McCready Track, Rose River when he suffered a fatal gunshot wound at around 9.30am.
The other hunters in the party are assisting police with their inquiries.
