Flood and emergency warnings for key Victorian hunting areas

None

Hunters have been urged to take care with flash flooding in Eastern Victoria following a deluge of more than 150 millimetres of rain, with isolated reports of more than 200 millimetres.

Whilst conditions are set to ease coming into the weekend dangerous conditions will persist with floodwater, fallen trees and downed power lines. River levels will continue to rise and river crossings will pose increased danger throughout the region for some time.

For the latest updates on incidents and warnings refer to the Emergency Victoria website

A number of seasonal road closures have also been brought forward due to the weather situation and there are also temporary closures on local roads. The best information on these can be found on the Vic Roads and the Mapshare Victoria websites.

Hunters should carefully plan their travel to remain safe and avoid interfering with emergency services.
