Emma Sears is an avid hunter, and her professional life as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse makes her the perfect presenter for all things Wilderness First Aid. Emma will be giving an overview on Chain of Survival, CPR, calling for help (UHF, PLB, Phones, inReach, etc.) and cover some possible scenarios that could confront a hunter, such as physical trauma from an accident, snake bites, limb and joint injuries, eye injuries, hyper/hypothermia, etc. Emma will also cover what to carry in your first aid kit, including what common medications are advisable.
Please note: This is not a first aid training course but rather a general information session.
