Changed advice for Victorian lockdown

None

This morning Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services have updated advice relating to travel in Stage 3 restriction areas for exercise and shopping. The clearest reporting so far is in the Herald Sun

If you are in any Stage 3 restriction area (Metropolitan Melbourne, Mitchell, Yarra Ranges and the Mornington Peninsula), the advice is now that you should undertake essential activities including shopping and exercise as close to home as possible and only travel further if it is absolutely necessary.

This is a significant shift from other advice we have had recently and will, of course, impact the opportunities of the tens of thousands of licensed deer hunters who reside in the area.

As we have noted since this situation began, this is a dynamic situation and the one certainty is uncertainty.
