Westernport Branch – Stringybark Creek Camp
Join the Australian Deer Association’s Westernport Branch for a weekend in the bush at our Stringybark Creek Branch Camp.
Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd August

Camp Details
Facilities: Drop toilets available on-site
Self-sufficiency: Please bring your own camping gear, food, and water
Saturday night dinner: A hot meal will be provided by the branch
Hunting & Mentoring
Mentoring: Newer members may have the chance to hunt alongside experienced members (subject to availability)
Safety: Blaze orange clothing is strongly encouraged while hunting
Firearm security:
Firearms must be locked away when in camp
Use a buddy system to check handling and safety
Hunting must follow all relevant public land regulations
Communication & Safety
Mobile coverage: No mobile reception at the campsite
UHF radio: Use Channel 24
Navigation: Garmin Rino devices are recommended
Important: Camp timings are a guide only – attendees are responsible for their own safety at all times
Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or just getting started, this is a great chance to connect with fellow members, get into the bush, and enjoy a relaxed weekend around the fire.
