Vehicle Access: 4WD recommended

Camp Details

• Facilities: Drop toilets are available at the campground

• Self-sufficiency: Attendees must bring their own camping gear, food, and water

• Saturday Dinner: The branch will provide a cooked meal on Saturday night

Hunting and Mentoring

• Mentoring Opportunity: Newer members may have the opportunity to hunt with experienced members, depending on availability

• Blaze Orange: Blaze orange clothing is encouraged while hunting for safety

• Firearm Security:

  • Firearms must be locked away while in camp

  • A buddy system is recommended to double-check firearm handling and safety

• Public Land Compliance: This is a public land camp and hunting area – all hunting must comply with relevant public land regulations

Communication and Safety

• Mobile Coverage: There is no mobile coverage in the camp area

• UHF Radio: Use UHF Channel 24

• Navigation Tools: Garmin Rino devices are encouraged for navigation and in-field communication

• Personal Responsibility: Camp timings are a guide only. Each attendee is responsible for their own safety at all times
