ADA Brisbane Branch: Annual Clay Target Shoot

Where: SSAA Belmont Clay Target Facility

When: Saturday 6th September 2025

12:00pm: Set up – all help appreciated

1:00pm: Sign on

Event format:

• Five Stand Sporting Clays

• Two rounds of 25 targets

Bring your a game, enjoy a friendly competition, and be part of a great day out with the branch.

We look forward to seeing you on the range!

Mandatory PPE:

• Eye protection must be worn at all times
• Ear protection must be worn while shooting is in progress – including referees and scorers

Firearms & ammunition:

• Category A & C shotguns only – no Category B shotguns under any circumstances
• Black powder cartridges are not permitted
• Maximum shot size: 7.5
• Firearms are your responsibility – SSAA recommends storing in a locked vehicle when not in use

On the range:

• Closed footwear required
• Gun rack attended – the owner/shooter must be in the immediate vicinity at all times
• New to clay target shooting? Please advise the Range Officer
• Empty cases – bin provided
• Dropped live cartridges – leave on the ground until firearm is unloaded

• End-of-day pack up – Peter and Norm to disarm all traps
