Special Guest Presenter – Peter Burke
We’re excited to announce that Peter Burke will be joining us as the special guest presenter at our upcoming branch meeting.
Peter is a long-time ADA stalwart and one of Victoria’s most respected sambar deer hunters. With decades of experience in the bush, he has built a reputation for his thoughtful, ethical and highly effective approach to hunting Australia’s premier deer species.
He is the author of Quiet Footsteps, a widely regarded guide to sambar hunting that has influenced hunters across the state. Many members will also recognise Peter from his years presenting in the Victorian Hunter Education Course, where he has helped educate and mentor the next generation of responsible hunters.
More recently, Peter has continued sharing his knowledge through his YouTube channel, Sambar Hunters Edge, offering practical bushcraft tips, sign interpretation insights and real-world lessons straight from sambar country.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from someone who has spent a lifetime learning the hills. Whether you’re new to sambar hunting or have years under your belt, you’re guaranteed to take away valuable insights.
