ADA Gippsland Branch: June Meeting with Ross O'Meara

Join us for the Australian Deer Association Gippsland Branch Meeting this June, featuring special guest speaker Ross O’Meara — chef, hunter, author, and proud ADA member.

 

With over 30 years in the culinary world, Ross has worked across Australia, the US, UK, and France, bringing a wealth of experience to his passion for wild game. Now based in Mansfield, Victoria, Ross combines his love of hunting and food, and is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading voices in game meat harvesting and preparation.

 

Ross is the author of Wild Meat: The Complete Book to Dressing and Cooking Australian Game Species and is well known as a host on SBS’s Gourmet Farmer, alongside Matthew Evans and Nick Haddow. He has also co-authored two popular cookbooks: The Gourmet Farmer Deli Book and The Gourmet Farmer Goes Fishing.

 

This is a great opportunity to hear firsthand from one of the country’s most knowledgeable and passionate advocates for wild food.
