Join the ACT & Snowy Mountains Branch for their final event of the year — a relaxed and social day of clay target shooting. It’s a great chance to catch up with old mates, make new ones, and enjoy an introductory, fun shoot for members and friends.
Three courses will be available to suit all skill levels:
A beginner’s range for new shooters
A five-stand course for those after a challenge
A novelty layout to test reloading skills
A safety briefing will kick off the morning, with shooting from 10:15am and a barbecue lunch around 12pm (all shooting pauses for lunch). Shooting will resume after lunch until interest ceases.
Key details:
Licensed shooters may use their own shotguns; unlicensed participants can use club guns under supervision.
Gun hire: $10 per person
Targets: $13 per 25-target round; $7 per shooter for flush shoot
Shells available on site (~$14 per box)
Eye and ear protection available if needed
Tea, coffee, and BBQ venison provided (please bring your own extras)
All ages welcome – participants must be over 12 years old
Non-shooters and families encouraged to attend
