We cater for wild deer enthusiasts living or working in Canberra and surrounding areas of NSW. We begin the year with a Key Note Speaker at our February meeting and enjoy four more meetings with an invited local speaker. We close with a social shoot at the Canberra International Clay Target Club in November. We meet bi-monthly on the third Thursday of February, April, June, August, October and December at 7:30pm, unless otherwise advertised. The meeting place is the Harmonie German Club of Canberra.
Adelaide Branch meetings commence at 7.30 pm, first Monday of every alternate month, i.e. January, March, May, July, September, November. (If Monday is a public holiday then the meeting is held on the second Monday).
Brisbane Branch general meeting is normally held at 292 Mount Petrie Rd, Belmont QLD 4153 on the 1st Friday of Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, & Oct. The December meeting is the branch Christmas party, consisting of an afternoon shotgun shoot, dinner, 2019 Achievement Awards, & Santa present for children & secret Santa for members.
CV is a medium sized and friendly branch centred around Bendigo. Meetings, with a social BBQ and guest speakers, are held on the second Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October and an end of year awards night and Christmas party. Visitors always welcome. We hold six hunting camps each year. We can arrange for mentoring for new hunters at camps.
Central West has a small core of keen hunters who hunt locally, interstate and also overseas (New Zealand). We hold meetings monthly from February through to November at Paddy's Hotel, 234 Gilmour Street, Kelso (Bathurst) NSW. Members bring heads and other interesting items. We hold raffles regularly and hold an annual Christmas party to round off the year.
The Darling Downs branch is based out of Toowoomba Qld and services a core group of enthusiastic members who like to get out to hunt and fish. We host a number of hunts a year including self-guided with a hunters camp, mentored hunts, interstate hunts for sambar (and NSW R License hunts) and usually an overseas trip a year depending on the interest. We run other activities such range days and fishing trips. Visitors welcome.
East Gippsland ADA branch is in the heart of Sambar and Hog Deer country. We have four meetings a year for our members to come and share stories with fellow hunters and see presentations related to wild deer pursuit. We are a very family friendly branch and are always happy to welcome visitors and new members.
The Geelong Branch meets on the 3rd Thursday of every second month. We meet at the Field & Game Wetland Centre, 605 Lake Road Connewarre at 6:30pm. New members and visitors welcome.

Our meetings are held in February at Mount Stanley; April, June, October and December at Wattle Grove Park shooting range & gun shop; and in August at a different location every year. The December Christmas meeting is also our deer rifle calibre shooting championship. Members can usually camp overnight at meetings and a dinner is provided for $10.
The Hunter Valley Branch of the ADA contains around 100 members and we meet every two months on the second Wednesday of every second month (first meeting of the year in February). With many active hunters we support new hunters and have several club hunts each year that promote mentoring and hunter education. We usually have special guests at our meetings and these are informative and enjoyable.

Melbourne Branch was the first and largest with a diversity of activities. We meet bi-monthly on 2nd Thursday from February to December at the Austrian Club. Dinner from 6.30pm & the official bit [relaxed] starts at 7.30pm. At 8pm, Guest speakers, relevant product presentations etc. Three Branch Hunts annually, education sessions, annual door prize, raffles at meetings and a Branch shop with hunting products. The Northwest branch traditionally has been located at Blythe Heads, but due to the hall presently being unavailable we are currently based at the Gawler Hall, 16 Top Gawler Road, Gawler 7315. Three social evenings a year are planned for with members informed of the dates by email. Any non-members wishing to attend these evenings are welcome and can get details by contacting Lloyd at northwesttas@austdeer.asn.au.
Formed in 2019, the Northern & Yorke Branch (SA) is active in the Clare Valley, Mid North and Eyre Peninsular of South Australia. The branch hosts the ADA National Hunting Camp, held 3 or 4 times a year at Shelley in NW Victoria; the camp is open to any financial ADA member from across the country - details available from the Branch Secretary: northern.yorke.sec@austdeer.asn.au
The Northern branch is based at Longford in the Northern Midlands. Branch meetings are open to all hunters and are held bimonthly in our own room at the Longford Show Grounds. With a wide range of guest speakers and topics to keep all up to date on trends and issues, we are an inclusive branch and support quality game management and promote safe, responsible and ethical hunting to ensure we continue our chosen pursuit.

South East SA Branch members enjoy access to our hunting program on our own land with facilities. We control deer numbers on many properties in the SE area, providing some of the best free range deer hunting in South East SA. The Southern Branch Tasmania general meeting is normally held cnr. Letitia and Ryde Streets, North Hobart on the 2nd Thursday February, April, June, August, & October. The December meeting is the branch Christmas party, consisting of a barbecue, yearly Achievement Awards and door prize draws.
The Sydney & Western Sydney Branch meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Emu Plains Sporting & Recreation Club, 1 Leonay Parade, Leonay. 7.30pm start. Quality raffle prizes each meeting to go along with an enjoyable, informative and educational get together. Family and visitors always welcome.
Upper Goulburn meetings are held at the Alexandra Golf Club, Gordon Street, Alexandra, on the third Tuesday in April, June, October, and December. A BBQ dinner starts at 6:30 pm, followed by the meeting. All are welcome.

The Westernport branch is based in Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula. It has over 600 members, ranging from the new hunter to some of the most revered in the Australian scene. There is six meetings per year which are held on the first Wednesday of Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec. The meetings showcase some of the most innovative products and speakers available, as well as 3-4 branch hunts per year.
