Coronavirus - Arrangements and information

The situation with COVID-19 remains fluid and the details and application of restrictions vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Commonalities include limiting or restricting non-essential travel, social distancing and gathering restrictions which render our traditional meetings and social events untenable for the time being.

We would like to be in a position to provide clear and certain answers – that is simply not possible at the moment. The one certainty is uncertainty.
What we will do is keep you informed as best we can. Hunters should always defer to local advice and check with local authorities if they are unsure.

We have no specific information for the Australian Capital Territory.

In Victoria, Game Seasons remain open, however, restrictions on travel and gatherings render hunting practically impossible for most hunters. If you can stay at home, you must stay at home.
The latest statement from the Chief Health Officer, Professor Brett Sutton is clear - “Unfortunately, this means no fishing, no hunting, no boating, no camping, and no golf - we ask Victorians to stop looking for loopholes. Just do the right thing.
The advice is clear; by staying at home you’re saving lives.”
