The Deer Management Initiative is an ADA national initiative through which we aim to contribute to improving the deer management situation in Australia, by providing expert advice for the development, implementation and review of deer management programs, and trained volunteers for deer management programs and research or data collection programs associated with the deer management programs.

Accredited ADA volunteers participate in Deer Management Programs on public. private and conservation covenanted land across Victoria (and across the country).

It’s an excellent and rewarding opportunity for deer hunters to put their skills into action for direct conservation benefits.

An accreditation shoot is scheduled for Saturday 11 July at the Big Game Rifle Club range.

Safety briefing at 9.15am – Testing begins at 9.30am

Before attempting the shooting test, members must successfully complete the Deer Management Accreditation theory component online.
