Deer hunting is the fastest growing, most dynamic and most sustainable outdoor adventure activity in Australia.

Hunters get the benefits of time in nature, healthy and ethical meat and the mental and physical challenges of fueling their inate human drive to hunt. They also become a part of a diverse, vibrant and supportive community.

The Australian Deer Association’s Hunter Education Course equips new deer hunters with all of the knowledge and practical skills required to become successful and confident in the bush.

Staged in State Forest in Gippsland, Victoria, the course is inclusive of comfortable accommodation and all meals. Over a very full weekend, hunters learn from the who’s who of the Australian deer scene about:
