Hunter Education – New South Wales

Learn to hunt deer!

11 – 13 August 2017

The renowned ADA New South Wales Hunter Education Course 2017 will be held at Mount Keira on the 11th – 13th AUGUST 2017.

The ADA NSW Hunter Education Course 2017 is a residential program conducted over a very full weekend at spectacular Rainforest in the heart of deer habitat on the Illawarra Escarpment near Appin.

The course has been developed by ADA for over two decades and, with thousands of graduates, remains the benchmark for deer hunter education in the southern hemisphere.

Participants enjoy a mix of theory and practical sessions including tracking, firearm selection, meat butchering, caping and handling, GPS, equipment and lots more.

Rather than try and teach just one particular style of stalking, our focus is on giving you the tools and arming you with the knowledge to hunt how it suits you. The cornerstones of any style of deer hunting are understanding deer behaviour and having an ability to read deer sign in the bush.

Key to keeping the costs down and providing the best possible “kick-start” to deer hunting is a team of experienced presenters who give their time and knowledge free of charge.
